Bordeaux Summer School - Neural circuits of pain: from physiology to pathology
The "Neural circuits of pain: from physiology to pathology" summer school is open to doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows with an interest in neurology, neuroscience, molecular biology and electrophysiology.
This five-day programme will allow students to explore the physiological and pathological aspects of pain, employing cutting-edge technologies. Renowned scientists will train participants for advancements in pain treatment. Course content includes advanced courses, workshops on techniques as well as hands-on training.
A joint initiative of the University of Bordeaux, the CERVO research centre at Université Laval (Québec City, Canada), and the Institute of Cellular and Integrative Neuroscience in Strasbourg (France), the first edition will take place in Bordeaux (France).
"This unique summer school will gather all domains of neurosciences throughout the course of one week in one main objective: to understand the physiology and plasticity of pain circuits."
Pascal Fossat – Chairman of the “Neural circuits of pain: from physiology to pathology” Bordeaux Summer School
